Your Human Design guide
I was born in Summit, New Jersey but spent most of my life living in Utah. I am fortunate to have been raised by incredibly loving and supportive parents. I was raised Mormon and served a 2 year mission at 19 years of age in Malaysia & Borneo. I left this church shortly after serving a mission.
I received a Bachelors of Science from Weber State University. I was married at age 23, had 2 wonderful kids (boy & girl) and divorced after 7 years.
In 2011, my life was forever changed by a boating accident that left me with life-threatening injuries. I was life-flighted, placed in a medical coma and the surgeon who operated on me gave a one-in-a-million chance of survival. This traumatic event caused me to reevaluate my beliefs about life and spirituality, and I began exploring daily practices of Transcendental Meditation and yoga.
In the ensuing years, I plunged into spiritual retreats, plant medicine ceremonies, and shamanic gatherings, fervently exploring consciousness. I was in training to become a Byron Katie facilitator when Human Design came into my life.
When I began exploring Human Design, it consumed me. Ra Uru Hu’s insights into projectors and my design themes resonated deeply, leaving me feeling truly understood. Captivated, I spent nearly a year secluded, voraciously studying and absorbing every piece of Human Design knowledge I could find. My friends and some family grew worried, convinced I’d lost my mind—and they weren’t entirely wrong.
I realized that truly understanding the Human Design System demanded living it. I dedicated countless hours to studying, experimenting, and deepening my grasp of the system. Seeking guidance, I connected with a mentor in Cairo, Egypt, who supported me through my deconditioning process. Over time, Human Design became second nature; I no longer think about waiting—strategy and authority are simply how I live.
As I applied the principles of Human Design to my life, I achieved a success that is not quantifiable and realized the importance of living in alignment with my Design. As a 5/1 emotional projector born in on Left Angle Cross of Defiance, I embraced my strategy and authority, defying societal norms and creating a new foundation for my life.
Researching Human Design is captivating, like mastering a new language, but it is futile if not applied. This knowledge is meant to be lived, not just studied. From my first encounter with Human Design, I realized that understanding it is one thing, but embodying it is another. By embracing my strategy and authority, I saw that when we align to our true frequency, we are aligned with all of nature and the world around us.
I’ve completed professional training in Living Your Design, Rave ABC, Rave Cartography, LYD Guide/Teacher Training, PTL1, Radical Transformation, The Art of Seeing, and various other Human Design courses. However, I consider myself a self-learner, constantly exploring the system to deepen my understanding and enhance my ability to guide others.
I relocated to Costa Rica, where I led projector immersions, and now, back in Salt Lake City, Utah, I guide and teach Human Design full-time, both online and in-person. I guide, facilitate workshops, and support others in their Human Design journey.
As a dedicated student of the Human Design System, my desire is to share the best of me with those who want to learn. Whether you’re new to Human Design or a seasoned practitioner, I’m here to help you uncover your authentic self, release limiting stories, patterns, and beliefs, and embrace the life you’re meant to live.
With Love, Philip.
